We will take on all of your small to medium home projects.
We take on a variety of minor electrical and plumbing issues which do not require a permit. This can vary from town to town, however, in most cases it means we can perform repairs or replacements on existing equipment.
We typically charge by the project unless you would rather an hourly charge. You can hire us for general handyman work by the hour, as well. You show us the little jobs that need doing and we will do them on the spot. You only pay for the time we are there in half-hour increments.
Our typical lead time between the acceptance of an estimate and when we start work is 3 weeks.
Let us know if your project is a rush and we will do our best to accommodate you depending on our schedule and how large your project is.
We hold a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) license for the state of Massacusetts and have liability coverage of $1M per incident through Next Insurance.
We only require deposits for materials before the job starts, so the amount will vary from project to project. The amount will be clearly stated on the estimate you receive.
If your plans change between the time you schedule us and when work is to begin, we can either deliver any acquired materials to you or return them (if possible) minus a 10% fee.
We strive to give accurate estimates and will keep to the estimated amount whenever possible.
Things happen, though, and sometimes we run into situations where additional costs cannot be avoided. If this happens, we will notify you immediately and work with you to find a suitable resolution.
Of course you can. We are happy to work with any project materials you have purchased or already have.
If there is an issue with these materials (broken on arrival, wrong size, etc.), you will be responsible for correcting the issue. Be sure to ask us about any questions you might have before ordering, so we can help you get the correct items.
Additionally, there will be materials which we will have on hand (like screws, nails, adhesives, etc.) You will see a combined line item for this on both the estimate and the invoice.
